Transitioning to WhatsApp Announcement Groups: What You Need to Know

As the world becomes more digital, we're seeing an increase in the number of WhatsApp groups being created for different purposes. While these groups can be great for sharing information and staying connected, they can also be overwhelming, especially when members start using your number to contact you directly. To address this issue, I'm transitioning to WhatsApp announcement groups to ensure that members can receive my updates without the risk of receiving unwanted messages from others in the group.

What are WhatsApp Announcement Groups?

WhatsApp Announcement Groups are a type of WhatsApp group where only the group admin can post messages. This means that members of the group won't be able to message each other or see each other's phone numbers. The only messages that members will receive are from the group admin, in this case, me.

Why am I Transitioning to WhatsApp Announcement Groups?

I'm transitioning to WhatsApp announcement groups to ensure that members receive updates without having to deal with any unwanted messages. By limiting the ability to post messages, members won't have to worry about their numbers being exposed or receiving spam messages from other members in the group.

What Do You Need to Do?

Nothing! I've already created the new WhatsApp announcement groups, and you've been added to them. You'll continue to receive information from me as before, but you won't receive any unwanted messages from other members.

Occasionally, I cross-post messages to multiple groups, which means you may receive my news more than once. If you feel that a group is not relevant to you, you can exit the group without any hard feelings.

Here is the list of Groups I have and what they are for:

  • WebDudes: This group is for updates on product releases, upcoming events, or programs from my company. You can learn more about WebDudes from the website www.webdudes.in. Click here to join.
  • Rishi's events: This group is for updates on upcoming events or programs. Sometimes, I interview people with nothing to do with WebDudes, so I will use this group to send those off-beat thought-provoking events. Click here to join.
  • Rishi's Network: This group is to share information with a lot of people who I know and they know me. If you feel you'd like to be on my network click here.
